July 23

On Sunday we took a day off from the church construction and went to the Sarapiqui River where we went whitewater rafting. After a couple of hours on the bus we arrived at the river where we enjoyed water rafting so much. Some people fell off their boats into the river and others grabbed onto their friends scooping them up and back into the boat. We also jumped into the river from a hill and floated down to be met by a snack of pineapple, watermelon, and coconut cookies. After having a wonderful time at the river, we had a delicious lunch overlooking the beautiful scenery. Then we went to a shop to buy gifts for our families and friends. Having enjoyed the day, we slept on the bus for a while. Then we had dinner at Elda’s house and then went back to our dream worlds.
